Web service to search for entertainments events like poker, bingo and pool tournaments in Australia.
Website is not ordinary, because entirely built on top of Google Maps using overlay windows.
User can filter events by date, type, suburb name or post code and it all happens instantly, without page reload. Map just scrolls, zooms and new events appear.
Once events found user can add them to calendar or share with friends right on the website. There is also a feature to suggest event to administrator.
Website built on <a href="http://framework.zend.com/" target="_blank">Zend Framework</a> and has a custom control panel to manage events. Administrator can add repeated events easily.
