Everyone would love to be at the top of Google, Yahoo and other search engines. But it’s not a simple process; there’s no magic formula that will ensure you always rank high by the search engines. Some areas of business are much more competitive than others and you could be competing with thousands of other websites.

The old method of HTML table-based layout makes it hard for search engine spiders to read the content of your site.

We ensure that all our code validates to W3C standards.
We attribute an appropriate page title for each and every page in your web site which accurately describes the content of that particular page.
Search engines friendly URLs are also very important: romaninstitute.com/curriculum rather than: romaninstitute.com/db_get_one.php?ID=321&SECTION_ID=13
Images and Flash animation are invisible to search engine crawlers so it’s important not to over-use them when displaying content. Graphics should be accompanied with ALT tags to describe their content.
Each page should have its own keywords set so that it has a chance of being found via search engines.
The keywords should accurately describe the content of that page and they should be terms that you think will be searched on. Here is an opportunity to be specific to your market rather than competing with everyone else out there, e.g. “Apartments for rent in New York” rather than just “Apartments for rent”.
