Why is React JS so popular?
What Is React JS?
So, in 2011, Facebook engineer Jordan Walke created React JS specifically to improve UI development.
In a post, Walke tweeted that after spending more than a decade at the social media giant, he is finally leaving the company. Besides this, Walke mentioned that from now on he will also be investing more in startups as opportunities arise as well as investing in open-source projects/communities including React JS related technologies, UI frameworks, programming languages and other such.

The React JS Ecosystem
React JS is an open source project, meaning anyone can download and modify its source code for free. This also means that, whatever specific UI function you’re hoping to address with React JS, there’s a React library to meet your needs. Your React library size can grow exponentially with React’s community curated library add-ons (opens in a new tab), ranging from collections of individual UI features to complete React JS templates for building UI’s from the ground up.
React is the future of the software industry; why?
- Fast Rate of Interface Rendering
- Easy-to-Use for Software Developers
- Integration with Advanced Third-Party Solutions
- Multipurpose Uses of Code
- Efficient Design and Developer Tools
Is there any doubt in React JS’ credibility when companies like Facebook, Netflix, Uber, Airbnb, and Yahoo! are using it? The reason for the popularity of this technology among the most ambitious companies is to focus on the high performance and flexibility of software.
